This year for the VR Project in XLab, the topic that we will be tackling is to create a VR simulation of various studies involving public sports games, primarily those of baseball, basketball and football. In the simulation you will be placed in different scenarios involving sports, more specifically in that of crowd behavior.
In these scenarios you’ll experience all different facets of crowd behavior; the history of the usage of music via crowds for positive enforcement, usages of crowd control and overall behavior by various law enforcements as well as the overall psychological interests of crowds.
Our hopes with making these VR simulations, is to primarily to set up for potential future uses in various categories, including educational training as well as helping to train security and police personnel for similar situations.
